| Our Office of experts is able
to offer total assistance to people who have inherited
a collection of postage stamps or postal history (letters)
and who desire to divide the value equally among all
family members, otherwise to put it on sale through
our organization.
1) In the first case (collection
division), we will proceed as follows: the
collection is sent to our office and the valuable
specimens provided with photographic certification
will be carefully examined. Subsequently, the evaluation
in carried out and two types of price are obtained:
the catalogue quote and the actual market value. It
then follows the reasonable and homogeneous economic
division of the collection (by nations, historical
periods, geographical areas, subjects etc.), taking
into consideration some sector better marketability.
On these bases, the inheritance is divided among the
family members. Heirs can, obviously, on equal value
and in agreement with the other members, show preference
to a particular sector. Our fee will be equivalent
to that of the evaluation (2% of the value, VAT excluded)
plus that of the photographic certifications. Time
required to carry out the assignment: from a few weeks
to a few months
2) In the second case (division
of the profits obtained from the collection sale),
we will proceed as follows: we are able to offer to
our customers a real “turn-key” service.
We receive the collection and the heirs, or the owners,
will need to do nothing more. Every two months customers
will then receive what we have obtained with our advisory
service. Thanks to our different methods we can get
recoveries at highest market price. Our fee will be
equivalent to the 30 percent of proceeds, inclusive
of examination, dismounting, remounting, collection
better presentability, valuable specimen photographic
certification and of various disposal methods, ecc..
Time required to carry out the assignment: from a
few months to a few years.
3) In the case of collections with
no commercial value, our fee will
be equivalent to that of a basic advice (150,00 euro).
